It’s lucky I have someone lovely to write about today! Day 26 features collage by Lar Eade Green. I know Lar through workshops, some for Free Hand, some for Girl Gang Sheffield and some for The Pod Coventry. I was lucky enough to be asked to go down to Coventry and run a workshop with her to celebrate The Pod Coventry’s ‘My Happy Place’ festival. Lar is so amazing at collage. She’s got a really great vision and amazing knowledge of how to put things together to change their interpretation. She creates context and beauty with her art.

The work featured was created at a Collage and Doodle workshop. We collaborated with Charly Calpin of Free Hand Creative Evenings to run the workshop, in the days when she worked from the large and sometimes quite chilly courtyard of CADS. We’ve featured more work from this workshop on day 22. The next event this week, the 8th of November and then the 2nd part of this date is on the following week. https://www.facebook.com/freehandsheffield/
