I just wanted to write a post to express our sincerest appreciation for LaDIYfest! SunnBearZine attended a recent LaDIY meeting of theirs to get involved and to approach with a view to collaboration on this zine. Without saying a word, LaDIYfest were so inclusive and warm towards people they have never met before. When the Designing Out Suicide Zine was mentioned, the response was more than encouraging. After the meeting, we approached LaDIYfest and they did everything they could to help publish the call out and raise awareness of the project, by posting on their blog, sharing and discussion. We wouldn’t have had the confidence to have initiated the zine without LaDIYfest, so thank you all so much!
